Kenya is a year-round destination! The best game viewing is during the Dry seasonsΒ (June-October and January-February). TheΒ Green SeasonΒ (November, March-May) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and lower prices, and is fantastic for birdwatching and photography.
We recommend booking 2-3 months in advance, especially for travel during peak seasons (June-October, Christmas) to secure the best lodges and guides. For low seasons (March-June, November) we recommend booking 2 month in advanceΒ For last-minute travel, please contact us for availability.
Most visitors require a visa. Tourist visas can be obtained online in advance through the Kenya eVisa website. Requirements can change, so we advise checking with your local Kenyan embassy
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if you are arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever. We strongly recommend being up to date on routine vaccines and consulting with a travel clinic for advice on others, such as Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and Malaria prophylaxis.
Yes, Kenya is a safe and popular tourist destination. We only operate in safe, established parks and conservancies. Our guides are highly trained, and we provide 24/7 support throughout your journey to ensure your safety and comfort.
Our all-inclusive packages typically cover: accommodation, all meals, bottled water, soft drinks, and local alcoholic beverages, all park entry fees, game drives in a private 4×4 vehicle, services of a professional driver/guide, and internal flights as specified. International airfare, visa fees, travel insurance, gratuities for guides and lodge staff, personal expenses (souvenirs, laundry), and optional activities (e.g., hot air balloon rides, specific cultural visits) are generally not included.
We accept bank transfers and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard). A 30% depositΒ is required to confirm your booking, with the final balance due 60 days before your departure.
We offer free cancellation up to 45 days before departure. Cancellations between 44-30 days incur a 50% fee, and cancellations within 30 days are subject to 100% cancellation fees. We require all guests to have comprehensive travel insurance.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance but do not sell it directly. We can advise you on reputable providers that cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of personal items.

We will send you a detailed packing list upon booking. Essentials include: neutral-colored clothing, a warm layer for mornings/evenings, a sun hat, sunscreen, binoculars, a good camera, and sturdy, comfortable shoes.
The food on safari is excellent! Lodges and camps serve a variety of international and local cuisine. They can comfortably accommodate dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.) with prior notice.
Absolutely! We are experts in crafting family safaris. We recommend lodges with pools, arrange shorter game drives, and include kid-friendly activities to keep everyone engaged. Some camps have minimum age restrictions, which we will advise on.
Yes! We welcome solo travelers. While single supplements apply for private rooms, we occasionally have group departures where you can share costs, and we can design a private trip tailored just for you.
